It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

At Christmas Past and Christmas Present Home Gallery, Our Favorite Season has arrived!

All through the store, you will see an eclectic mix of collectible Christmas décor to make your home look a lot like Christmas too!  Whether your style is rustic farmhouse, shabby chic, retro charm or traditional – there are pieces here to add to the enjoyment of your celebration.

In one corner you may see a one-of-a-kind handmade gnome, or Santa in plaid, or buffalo plaid reindeer standing tall!  They are just waiting to add a bit of whimsy and charm to your holiday.  Your guests will get a kick out of the signage on wooden blocks, galvanized steel, or framed to hang on your wall.   They will have as much fun spotting them in your home as you will while finding them here in the store.  There is so much to see!

Set a Beautiful Vintage or Retro Inspired Table

There’s no place like home for the holidays and when you set your table with a new-to-you service of retro, vintage, or antique dinnerware, it will be memorable.  Perhaps the Copeland Spode china in the Romney pattern will suit you.  Made in England, the beautiful floral pattern was first introduced in 1933 for the US market.  It is no longer produced, making it an antique heirloom for you family, while being priced right for today.

If retro is more your thing, be sure to look for the fun red Waechtersbach Christmas pattern featuring a lively green Christmas tree decorated with lights.  Made in Germany, this dinnerware pattern has been a holiday tradition since 1976 and was retired in 2012.  There will be smiles all around the table as you bring it out each year.

You can never go wrong with white-as-snow milk glass.  The opaque white pieces complement any décor.  Milk glass first originated in the 16th century, but the milk glass we know today rose to prominence during the Victorian era.  Demand fell for a while during the World Wars, but it had a resurgence in popularity during the 1950’s and 1960’s.  While some reproductions are still being made, production of original milk glass ended in 1984.  We have everything from punch bowls to serving plates just right for your holiday parties.

A Warm Atmosphere Helps to Create a Memorable Holiday

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  You can bring additional warmth to your home this season by adding a stained glass lamp, or unique, one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture before the celebrations begin.  Brightly wrapped packages under the tree filled with special items from the Diva Den or the Man Cave add to the mystery and excitement of the season.  They will be cherished by the recipients who will know you took the time to shop especially for them!

We look forward to seeing you this holiday season.  If you are looking for something in particular, don’t hesitate to ask.  Our friendly staff are always ready to assist you here at Past and Present Home Gallery, the antique store with character…and Christmas ideas everywhere you look!
